A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is a batch- specific quality document issued by the manufacturer of a research peptide summarising the analytical results generated during release testing. It provides the primary evidence that the supplied material meets its declared specifications.
A CoA typically reports: identity (LC-MS observed vs theoretical mass), purity (HPLC %), sequence confirmation, counterion / salt content, water content (Karl Fischer), endotoxin content (LAL, EU / mg where relevant), appearance, batch and lot number, manufacture and expiry dates, and recommended storage conditions.
The CoA is the single artefact tying a specific lot to a specific set of analytical measurements — indispensable to laboratory record-keeping and reproducibility.
