Editorial principles
- Accuracy over reach
Every scientific claim must be traceable to a cited primary or authoritative secondary source. Where the literature is thin, we say so explicitly rather than paraphrase around the gap.
- Evidence is graded, not asserted
Claims are labelled against the evidence hierarchy (Strong → Conflicting) so readers can weigh how much confidence a statement carries.
- Research framing is non-negotiable
All content is written for laboratory researchers. No page describes dosing for humans, therapeutic indications, or health outcomes for consumers.
- Citations are structured, not decorative
References use structured metadata (DOI, PMID, authors, year, journal) so they can be verified, exported and audited. Inline citations link to the reference list on the same page.
- Transparent revision history
Every page carries a visible revision history and last-reviewed date. Substantive edits are versioned; typos and formatting are not.
- Scientific review is independent of commercial teams
Scientific reviewers evaluate accuracy without input from sales, marketing or catalogue operations. Reviewers may require revisions before a page is published or re-published.
- Corrections are visible, not silent
Where a factual error is identified after publication, the correction is logged in the revision history with a short summary of what changed and why.
Evidence hierarchy
Every substantive claim on an editorial page is labelled against the tiers below so readers can weigh confidence at a glance. Tiers are applied by scientific reviewers, not by authors.

Study quality grades

Each page type is re-audited against current literature at the interval below. Reviewers may bring a review forward if new evidence changes a claim.
